Welcome to Troop 498

On behalf of the Scoutmaster corps, parents, and the boys of Troop 498, we'd like to welcome you to the Troop.  Troop 498 is in the Polaris District of the Santa Clara Council.  Our sponsoring organization is St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Sunnyvale, however, neither scout nor family membership in the church is required to be a member of the troop.
 
Troop 498 has its unique characteristics:
  • Boy-led troop.
  • Small size: Scoutmasters have time for each scout.
  • Active: A major activity each month.
  • Emphasize on teaching new skills.
  • High percentage of scouts stay in the program and make Eagle.
  • Scouts, parents, and troop leaders work together well.
